Jawatan Kosong - Legal And Secretarial Executive

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates with calibre to apply for the following position:- 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Legal and Secretarial Services in perusing legal documents such as joint ventures agreements.
  • Liaise with external lawyers pertaining to litigation issues.
  • Assist the Head in company secretarial duties including filing of annual documents, ensuring proper record of statutory documents and preparation of Directors’ and Shareholders’ Circular Resolutions.
  • Assist the Head in the arrangement of Board of Directors’ meeting of the Group as well as convening of Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings.
  • Assist the Head in ensuring the compliance of all regulatory documents as required by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (such as Form 49 and Form 24), compliance with the Companies Act 1965 and other legal requirements of the Group.
  • The executive will also be assigned to several subsidiary companies to supervise in respect of its legal and secretarial matters. He/she needs to ensure and report to the Head that all statutory and legal procedures of the assigned companies are in order.
  • Possess a Degree in Law from a recognized local or overseas educational institution.
  • Possession of a company secretarial licence is an advantage.
  • With 4 to 7 years of experience in a corporate legal environment with exposure to Board meetings.
  • Excellent in oral and written English.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, a team player and result oriented.
  • Meticulous and independent.
