Percutian Di Tasik Kenyir

Alhamdulillah, akhirnya aku dan keluarga (jauh dan dekat) telah berkesempatan untuk bercuti di Tasik Kenyir bermula dari 2 - 4 Disember 2013.

Walaupun hujan sepanjang perjalanan pergi (melalui Cameron Highland dan Gua Musang) dan perjalanan balik (melalui Jertih, Machang, Jeli dan Gerik), aku rasa gembira kerana dapat mengumpulkan ramai kaum keluarga yang jarang berjumpa sebelum ini. Ada yang datang dari Kedah, Negeri Sembilan dan Pahang. Tidak ketinggalan yang datang dari negeri Perak (macam aku ni lah).

Bila dah jumpa ramai-ramai, macam-macam yang boleh aku lihat. Ada yang sibuk nak memancing, ada yang bising-bising nak ke dapur, anak-anak pula kelam kabut lari sana sini turun naik atas bawah rumah bot dan entah apa lagi yang aku malas nak ingat.

Lupa lak nak bagi tu, kami semua bercuti di Tasik Kenyir dengan menyewa sebuah rumah bot (boat house). Rumah bot dua tingkat  ini boleh bergerak dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Ianya dilengkapi dengan enam buah bilik, tandas dan bilik air, tempat memasak, bilik karaoke, ruang untuk BBQ, tempat memancing, ruang santai dan mesin basuh pakaian!

Aku paparkan sebahagian daripada pengalaman sewaktu bercuti di Tasik Kenyir ini.

Banyak yang menarik di sekitar Tasik Kenyir ini. Aku fikir cuma aku dan keluarga aje yang datang masa hujan nie... tetapi sebenarnya masih ada ramai pengunjung lain yang datang dari seluruh Malaysia.

Berakhirlah Fasa 1 Cuti-Cuti Malaysia 2013. Aku dan keluarga kembali ke rumah untuk berehat sebelum meneruskan Fasa 2 pula.

Jawatan Kosong - Pelatih Juruteknik Awam

Permohonan adalah dipelawa kepada warganegara Malaysia yang berkelayakan untuk mengikuti program latihan berikut:-

PELATIH JURUTEKNIK AWAM (MERINYU URUSAN JALAN)

Calon-calon yang terpilih akan dikehendaki menjalani latihan untuk tempoh selama 11 bulan di Akademi Keretapi, Batu Gajah. Calon-calon yang berjaya menamatkan latihan dan lulus dalam peperiksaan yang diadakan kemudiannya akan ditawarkan untuk mengisi jawatan Juruteknik Awam (Merinyu Urusan Jalan) J07G10.

Deskripsi Tugas

1. Menjalankan penyenggaraan landasan, sisian-sisian, terowong, jambatan-jambatan dan pembentong.
2. Menjalankan pemeriksaan berkala kepada sesimpang dan lintasrata.
3. Menjalankan kerja bancian (prospection) kepada bahan-bahan landasan untuk tujuan perancangan tahunan.

Kelayakan

v     Mempunyai Sijil Kejuruteraan Awam dari Politeknik atau mana-mana institusi yang setaraf
v     Berusia 20 tahun dan ke atas tetapi tidak melebihi 27 tahun pada tarikh tutup iklan
v     Pengalaman kerja yang berkaitan dengan kejuruteraan awam adalah kelebihan
v     Mempunyai penglihatan yang baik dan tidak buta warna.

Syarat-syarat lain

v     Calon-calon yang berjaya akan dikehendaki menandatangani kontrak perkhidmatan selama 5 tahun dengan KTMB.

Cara Memohon

Responsibilities
·     Strategize learning programs to be in line with KTMB’s long term and short term business plan  
·     Establish overall training needs identification/analysis to determine required training programs for the company and develop the annual Master Training Plan.
·     Establishment of core competencies for all  job types to identify training requirement  for all employees
·     Explore external training opportunities to  fulfill unavailability of internal training  requirements
·     Develop, review and propose training policies, strategies and procedures to strengthen implementation of training activities.
·     Establish community programs to fulfill the  role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
·     Establish annual training budget for all  user departments.
·     Monitor and review monthly training expenditure,  submit monthly reports to user departments  for effective budget control.
·     Develop new proposals to improve the  overall training function, infrastructure, etc  in order to directly or indirectly contribute  to the company’s success.
·     Conduct relevant training programs in areas  where he/she has the expertise and coach  immediate or indirect subordinates in their  work areas.
·     To ensure the Training Council Meeting  is carried out regularly and monitor/coordinate  the outcome of the meeting is taken action  by department involved.

Requirements
·     Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or any related field OR
·     Has served at least 5 years on Grade G05 (for internal candidates)
·     At least 5 years or 3 years (for internal candidates) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
·     Passion for training and people development
·     Preferably Managers specializing in Training & Development or equivalent.
·     Practical experience in both technical and non - technical training techniques
·     Strong project and program management skills
·     Good standard of PC literacy, comfortable with technology
·     Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and present reports (in English and Bahasa Malaysia).
