Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates with calibre to apply for the following position:-

 FACILITIES MANAGER
GRADE G05
(Facilities Management)

Responsibilities:

• To prepare Bill of Quantity (BQ) and Cost Estimates for all OPEX and CAPEX projects.
• Prepare Tender Document Specification as per JKR’s requirements, JKKP and compliance to the KTMB Discretionary Policy (DAL)
• Monitoring Departmental and regional facility tenders and contracts on a monthly basis
• Provide technical and cost advice to all user departments
• Execute departmental audits on the facility and safety contracts on cleanliness at stations, full usage on existing facilities and in conformity to JKKP requirements.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent OR

• Has served at least 3 years on Job Grade G06 with knowledge of facilities/asset management (for internal candidates).
  • Good knowledge on Auto Cad computer software and application
• Ability to design building and infrastructure and possess creativity in interior  designing eg  3D drawing
• A mature individual with good working knowledge and able to work  independently with little supervision.
